American Actor Ben Affleck will replace Christian Bale in the next Batman film.

In the latest celebrity update, The Hollywood actor Ben Affleck will going to be in a sequel of Superman film that slated to release in 2015.

In fact, Christian Bale is the one who played Batman in Christopher Nolan’s “Batman” trilogy and now he had left the doors wide open for a new successor.

“We know we needed an extraordinary actor to take on one of DC Comics’ most enduringly popular super heroes, and Affleck certainly fits that bill and then some, Warner Bros. president Greg Silverman said in a statement.

The sequel of Superman hit “Man of Steel” has not yet titled but this also be directed by Zack Snyder.
Henry Cavill will be reprising his role in the sequel alongside Ben Affleck in the 2015 film.

“Ben provides an interesting counter-balance to Henry’s Superman. He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne,” Snyder said.

The first film “Man of Steel has grossed some $650 million worldwide and $290 million in North America alone.

Meanwhile, Affleck is no stranger to superheroes, having played Matt Murdock in the 2003 flop “Daredevil.”

 However, Affleck got back again at the pinnacle of his new accomplishment in 2013 when his movie “Argo” won the Oscar for best film last February 2013.
