Adele Cancels US Tour due to Vocal Hemorrhage

The British singer-songwriter Adele is cancelling her remaining upcoming U.S. tour due to a vocal-cord injury and she announced it on her website on Tuesday September 04, 2011.

In the latest celebrity update, Adele pulled out of 10 US tour dates to start in Atlantic City in New Jersey on Friday October 07, 2011 before heading to other cities including Nashville, Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, Austin and finishing with 3 consecutive gigs in Texas on October 21, 2011, on the back of her bestselling album “21” with the smash hits such as “Rolling in the Deep,” “Turning Tables” and “Someone Like You.”

“I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever. I have great confidence in believing you know how much this upsets me, how seriously I take it and how truly devastated and annoyed I am by this.” She said in a statement on her website.

Meanwhile, the 23 year old songbird has been weighed down with her vocal issues so long and she was forced to cancel her several shows in America due to a bout of laryngitis. She post the details of her vocal issues began in January, following a bout with the flu and her voice never got its complete recovery before she hit the road again.

However, the Grammy award winning singer is very sorry for canceling her tour and she will be soon to start her vocal rehab and also start building her overall stamina voice, body and mind so she can back again. She also added that the canceled shows have already been rescheduled.
