The Angel Locsin – Marian Rivera rivalry has been the cause
of their respective fans’ fights and online word wars for many years. Some have
been compared it to the Vilma Santos – Nora Aunor competition though others
think it has not reached that level. But now, it seems that Angel and Marian
are throwing that rivalry out the window with a rumored project together.

In the latest celebrity update, one of the top actresses and
‘rivals’ Angel Locsin and Marian Rivera were seen getting cozy during a recent
photo shoot. It is reportedly for their first joint project together.
In fact, the photo became popular when it is posted on
Locsin’s official Facebook fan page on Friday. It was taken during a pictorial
for a project featuring both actresses.
The nature of their project, whether it is for a film or a
possible joint endorsement deal, has yet to be detailed in the upcoming days.
As you remember, Rivera was tapped to replace Locsin in the
GMA-7 remake of the hit Mexican series “MariMar,” when the latter stirred
controversy with her unexpected transfer to ABS-CBN after five years as a “Kapuso.”
Marian also played Darna in a 2009 TV series in GMA-7, four
years after Angel took on the Mars Ravelo character in the network’s first TV
production centering on the Pinay Superhero.
And then Locsin move to become a Kapamilya, primetime
programs starred respectively by her and Rivera faced off numerous times due to
having the same time slot.
