Ben Affleck Training Two Hours A Day For Batman!

BEN AFFLECK
Now that Ben Affleck is squaring off against Henry Cavill’s Superman, he is getting serious about his Bat-body!

Excited to know the Batman-Saga? Well, check out the story below!

In the latest celebrity update, the 41 years old father of three has been spotted going to gym daily to create his superhero body according to US Weekly. Affleck is reportedly training for almost two hours a day to prepare for the physically demanding role.

As we all remember in the previous reports, Warner Bros. put one of Hollywood’s hottest casting rumors to an end last Thursday. When they declared that Ben will be the one who played Batman in the upcoming Superman sequel film, a role previously played on the big screen by George Clooney, Christian Bale, Val Kilmer and Michael Keaton.

“Affleck and filmmaker Zack Snyder will create an entirely new incarnation of the character in Snyder’s as-yet-untitled project – bringing Batman and Superman together for the first time on the big screen and continuing the director’s vision of their universe, which he established in ‘Man of Steel,’” Warner Bros. said.

Following Snyder’s announcement with his joy over the selection, he shared.

“Ben provides an interesting counter-balance to Henry’s Superman. He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne. I can’t wait to work with him,” the director said in a statement.

On the other hand, other stars who had reportedly been up for the role of Batman included Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, Joe Manganiello, Max Martini, Armie Hammer, Matthew Goode and Orlando Bloom.

Meanwhile, the Superman sequel is expected to begin production in 2014, with a July 17, 2015 release date.
