Comedienne Melai Cantiveros is pregnant with her boyfriend Jason Francisco child.

In the latest celebrity update, Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco confirmed that Melai is really pregnant.

“Positive na positive. Two lines. Over-over. Sobrang pagkahappy ko talaga Tito Boy (Abunda). Hindi ako kinabahan kasi gusto talaga namin ni Jason. Noong nagkabalikan kami, gusto talaga naming i-level up yung relationship naming,” Melai said.

In fact, the showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz was the first to break the news about the pregnancy in his blog two weeks ago.

Both their families are happy for Melai’s pregnancy. The couple shared that they plan to get married once everything is settled.

“(Sabi ni Mama) Okay sa akin basta papuntahin mo si Jason ditto at kailangan makasal kayo sa madling panahon,” Melai said.

Melai also shared that she was touched when Jason asked her hand for marriage.

“Pagtingin ko sa salamin doon sa CR, may nakalagay, ‘I love you. Will you marry me? You are my dream.’ Binigay niya sa akin yung kahon ng singsing, tapos walang singsing. Sabi niya, ‘Iyan na lang muna kasi wala tayong pera.’ Pero maya-maya kinuha niya at sinuot niya sa akin. Umiyak siya, doon ako na-touch,” she said.

Melai also said that they have both savings and before she goes back to work they’ll be waiting for three months.

“Kami namang dalawa, meron naman kaming savings. Hindi naman ganoon kalaki. Basta hintayin muna naming ang three months na mabuo muna siya na stronger muna siya bago ako bumalik,” Melai said.

She added that both of them have matured in their relationship.

                “Tsaka hindi na rin ako nagseselos. Confident ako na sobrang love niya ako.”

Melai promised that she will “always be there” for Jason, while the latter vowed eternal fidelity.

“Maipapangako ko sa iyo na hindi ako magkaka-second wife. Kailangan lang lambingin mo rin ako kapag parang nauumay na ako sa iyo. SInasabi ko sa kanya mag-trust ka sa akin.”

Meanwhile, Melai and Jason, who first met in the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother,” reconciled in April after their break-up last year.

As you recall in Jason’s interview last July, Jason expressed that he wished to get married and have a baby with Melai.
