In the latest celebrity update, the R&B singer Rihanna
has already confessed that she still in love with Chris Brown and even calling
him the love of her life. It’s been three years after being beaten up by
then-boyfriend.
The 24 year old Rihanna told Oprah Winfrey in an exclusive
interview broadcasted last Sunday August 19, 2012 that she and the 23 year old
Brown had rebuilt their trust and now had a “very close friendship”.
In fact, in the year 2009, Chris Brown was convicted of
assaulting her girlfriend (Rihanna) that time in a violent attack on the eve of
the 2009 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. He apologized publicly and was sentenced
to five years probation, community service, domestic violence counseling and
was ordered to stay away from Rihanna.
However, the restraining order was lifted last year and the
pair has since teamed up in the studio on 2012 singles “Birthday Cake” and “Turn
Up the Music,” circulating speculation that they were back together.
“We have maintained a very close
friendship ever since the restraining order was dropped. We just worked on it,
little by little, and it has not been easy… We built a trust again that’s it. We
love each other and we probably always will and that’s not anything we’re gonna
try to change,” she told Winfrey.
Furthermore, she also said that she is having difficulty
hiding her feelings every time she meets up with Brown.
“It’s awkward because I still love
him. My stomach drops and I have to maintain this poker face and not let it get
to the outer part of me… I think he was the love of my life,” she added.
Meanwhile, Rihanna has already begun to work on her seventh
studio album, she is in the ten week series and first TV programme, Styled To
Rock, which is premiered in the UK on Sky Living, along with Nicola Roberts,
Lysa Cooper and Henry Holland. She also scheduled to play herself in the
apocalyptic comedy End of the World, which is released on June 14, 2013.
