In the latest celebrity update, Adam Levine surprised fans
by proposing to model Behati Prinsloo in July except “The Voice’ host Carson
Daly said that he wasn’t surprised when Adam announced he’d made it official
with the Victoria’s Secret Angel.
“Have you seen her? She’d make an
honest man out of a lot of us! She’s wonderful. We’re super happy for him,”
Carson told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman.
In fact, Carson also said that the newly engaged Maroon 5
lead vocalist has exuded a new radiance since proposing.
“He does [have a glow] – that’s
probably because he does yoga all the time. No – we’re happy for him,” Carson
said.
Carson, whose late night show was recently picked up for a
thirteenth season, said the “big family” environment on “The Voice” set
probably played a part in Adam’s decision to give up the bachelor lifestyle.
“I bring my kids – I mean, it’s
around him, for sure. Miranda Lambert is there a lot with Blake Shelton, and my
whole family is there, and CeeLo Green has a big extended family and they’re
always there, Christina Aguilera has got her kid there,” he said.
Furthermore, Carson thinks that he is going to get married
first then we’ll see next.
“I don’t know. He’s gonna get
married, we know that! So, we’ll see what happens. He seems really happy,” he
said.
Meanwhile, “The Voice” Season 5 premieres on September 23,
2013 on NBC.
