JENNIFER LOPEZ |
The singer and actress Jennifer Lopez is put in the hot seat about the reasons why she decided to walk away from her former husband Marc Anthony.
What is the main reason why she decided to walk away to Marc Anthony? What is the status of her personal life? Is she thinking to get marriage again?
In the latest celebrity update, Jennifer Lopez says that this is not the right time to think about marriage again at the moment.
The American Idol judge had a guest appearing on ‘The Today Show with Matt Lauer,’ where she shared everything about the latest status of her personal life and what’s going on.
As you recall, Jennifer and Marc has been separated after seven years of marriage last summer and now, Jennifer is currently dating the 24 year old backing dancer Casper Smart. When she was asked if she’d ever marry again, the 42 year old gave a tentative response.
“I don’t know. We’ll see. I don’t know. It’s not time to think about that yet. It’s still fresh,” she told Matt.
In fact, Jennifer is currently filming a Latin American Television talent show “Q’Viva” together with Marc. She says that working with her separated husband is not that impossible feat, so it means that they are still so close.
“Marc and I were friends before we got married. We were friends for years. And we always loved each other and we always worked together. So it wasn’t an unnatural thing for us to continue to work together. And we have children together [twins Max and Emme.] So he’s always going to be in my life.”
As the interview goes on, the host Matt Lauer became a little bit playful while quizzing the songtress about their split. He even read so loud about Jennifer’s Vanity Fair quotes on loving herself enough to walk away from her marriage to her former partner.
“Matt! I’m going to kill you right now. Why do you have to bring it up! No! I can’t! Because everything I wanted to say about the divorce I said in that article, and Marc and I agreed we weren’t going to talk about it publicly again because it really is our personal life. …At the end of the day, like I said, we’re working together, we have a lot of love for each other and we’re human. It’s not the easiest thing in the world but I think we handle it with a lot of grace and a lot of caring and a lot of love,” as she explained.
