In the latest celebrity update, the Yahoo! OMG Breakthrough
Actress Kathryn Bernardo is ‘extra careful’ with her wholesome image.
“Kahit naman before, maingat talaga
So ever since
mga ginagawa ko,” Kathryn said at the press conference of her newest
endorsement, Juicy Cologne at the ABS-CBN compound.
In fact, YES Magazine also make known Kathryn and her fellow
Kapamilya star Julia Montes as the country’s loveliest in the seventh edition
of the YES! 100 Most Beautiful Stars bookazine.
Plus, Kathryn is no party girl, so she doesn’t feel her busy
schedule is robbing her of a social life.
“Everything naman comes with a
sacrifice.
kailangan kong i-give up.
anything,” she said.
Despite her busy schedule, Kathryn enrolled herself at
Enderun College, where she is taking up marketing. She is grateful to her
management company for helping her balance her time between work and studies.
“Kinakaya ko pa naman siya. Basta
kapag Tuesdays, after ng morning class ko, pwede na akong pumunta sa work. Then
kapag Saturdays, blocked off iyon for my school lang the whole day Nagwo-work
out rin naman with the production, with my schedule,” she said.
Kathryn also clarified that she doesn’t get special
treatment in school.
“Feeling
ko normal student lang ako kapag Saturdays,” she explained.
Meanwhile, Kathyrn’s character in ‘Got to Believe,’ her
second teleserye with Daniel Padilla is more mature than the one she played in “Princess
and I.”
Kathryn’s also explained that she’s not sure if there any
kissing scene because it’s not allowed under 18 years old and she’s not ready
for it maybe step by step for now.
“I’m not yet sure kasi alam ko
bawal pa kapag under 18 (she’s 17). Hindi pa rin po siguro ready. Parang masyado
pang maaga. Siguro step by step lang,” she said.
Kathryn also denied that Daniel has become very possessive.
“Hindi naman kasi siya super seloso
na nakakasakal. Protective and possessive lang siya in a way na hindi naman
nakakasakal kasi ganon rin naman siya sa family niya,’ she explained.
In addition, Kathryn said that she decides on what to do and
what not to do.
“Kasi feeling ko si DJ (Daniel)
andoon lang siya para i-guide ako. And of course, lalaki siya, alam niya kung
anu yung right dress code for a girl. Concerned lang siya sa akin,” she said.
