In the latest celebrity update, Lea Michele reportedly fears
she will never get over her beau Cory Monteith’s death.
The Glee actress and singer Lea has been dating her Glee
co-star for more than a year when he died suddenly from an overdose of heroin
and alcohol on July 13, 2013.
Friends of Lea are very worried that she will never recover
from losing the love of her life.
As a matter of fact, Lea is reportedly in a permanent state
of shock and struggles to contain her emotions.
“It seems so unfair and impossible
to process. She’s furious one minute and wracked with guilt the next. I think
she’s wondering how she’ll ever get over his death – and if that’s even
possible,” the insider explained.
On the other hand, The 26 year old actress had just returned
from a trip away with her girlfriends when she found out.
“Lea had just got back from holiday
in Mexico when she got the call. She was with friends, thank God, because she
went into shock. Her mum, Edith, dropped everything to be with her but there’s
nothing anyone can say at this point,” an insider told UK magazine Look.
Furthermore, Lea’s girlfriends were on hand to help her
after the initial call came through and she’s since been finding support with
Cory’s relatives. Several months before he passed away Cory admitted him into a
rehab facility and appeared to be doing well. Those closest to him are
struggling to comprehend how he could have died.
“Lea’s been with Cory’s family
since the cremation [last week]. None of them can believe this could happen.
She still keeps asking if there has been a mistakes – it’s incredibly sad. And
of course she’s torturing herself with what ifs, saying she wished she’d made
Cory come on holiday with her. But honestly, no one around Lea had any idea
this was coming. None of them could’ve predicted this would happen. Cory seemed
to be doing so well,” the source said.
Meanwhile, Cory had been open about his battle with drug and
alcohol addiction, which had seen him receive professional treatment when he
was 19.
