|LEA MICHELE AND CORY MONTEITH|
Cory Monteith or Finn Hudson in the TV musical “has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility”.
Is it really true? Why?
Check out the story behind it.
In the latest celebrity update, the Canadian actor Cory Monteith has checked into rehab for substance addiction.
In fact, People Magazine reported that Cory has entered a treatment facility on his own will yet it was confirmed by his representative on Easter Sunday.
“Cory has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction. He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery,” the spokesperson said.
However, the actor’s representative declines to elaborate on the nature of the star’s addiction.
The 30 year old Monteith has been honest about his battle with substance abuse in the past. He entered rehab for the first time at age 19 and two years ago broke his silence in a bid to help others sharing his struggle.
“I don’t want kids to think it’s okay to drop out of school and get high, and they’ll be famous actors, too. But for those people who might give-up, get real about what you want and go after it,” he said in 2011.
As we all know that Monteith’s career has been bloomed by playing Finn Hudson on hit US television musical Glee and he struck up a friendship with co-star Lea Michele on set and the pair’s relationship turned romantic last year.
On the other hand, Cory’s spokesperson had not commented on the status of their relationship at press time.
Instead, Lea has spoken previously about how she appreciates the opportunity to professionally collaborate with Cory.
“He really, really inspires me, and he motivates me and I think he’s just so talented. Working with him has been one of the best experiences of this whole process. I’m so happy,” she told People.
Let’s support Cory Monteith just like his friends and pray that it will went out successfully.
