CHAREE PINEDA |
Young star Charee Pineda conceded that being visible on TV
largely contributed to her winning a seat in the Valenzuela city council last
May election.
Excited to know more Charee Pineda? Well, check out the
story below!
In the latest celebrity update, Charee Pineda admits she’s
still in transition as city councilor and the lure of television is also still
there plus her constituents are asking for it.
“Hindi naman kasi nag-end ‘yung
show sa kabilang network December last year pa. Tapos, ilang months din akong
napahinga sa showbiz and may time akong makapag-aral at makapag adjust. And
dati rin naman akong SK so I think nasa tamang time na rin naman ako para
magbalik showbiz na rin. At I know gusto ko na rin ako mapanood ulit ng mga
So
itutuloy ko lang kung ano yung nauna kong trabaho,” she said.
The crossover Kapuso’s lines are blurred when it comes to
showbiz and politics as she loves and can do both at the same time.
“Parati akong 100% e. Pareho ko
kasing mahal ‘yung ginagawa. Hindi pwedeng, ‘Okay, 50% lang ‘to.’ Kasi
papalpak,” she explained.
After all, showbiz and politics do both “public service,” at
least for her.
she said.
Meanwhile, the 22 years old councilor resent how people tend
to belittle celebrities who join politics.
Kasi all eyes are on
you, e. Parang ‘pag may mali ka nama-magnify,” she said.
However as they say, it’s part of the job. And critics are
there to stay.
“Hindi mo naman maiwasan na
mapulaan talaga e.
makapag-serve,” she said.
