BILLY RAY CYRUS |
Miley Cyrus’ dad has something to say about the overtly
sexual dance moves of his daughter in VMAs.
How Miley’s dad reacted to ‘twerking’?
Excited to know more about Billy Rae Cyrus? Well, check out
the story below!
In the latest celebrity update, Billy Ray Cyrus has
dismissed criticism of her daughter Miley Cyrus, insisting he fully supports
her.
As we all know, that Billy’s daughter was slammed for her
performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, where she was seen grinding on Robin
Thicke while wearing a skimpy outfit.
Miley’s father can’t wait to comfort her when they are
reunited.
“Of course I’ll always be here for
Miley. Can’t wait see her when she gets home,” Billy Ray told Entertainment
Tonight.
The 20 years old pop star merged her song ‘We Can’t Stop’
with Robin’s ‘Blurred Lines’ during the performance.
The country singer thinks the hype surrounding Miley’s
overtly sexual dance moves will die down soon.
“She’s still my little girl and I’m
still her dad regardless how this circus we call show business plays out. I
love her unconditionally and that will never change,” he said.
In fact, Miley seemed thrilled with the result of the show
and shared how successful the spectacle was through her Twitter page.
“Smilers! My VMA performance had
306,000 tweets per minute. That’s more than the blackout or Superbowl!, (sic)”
she tweeted.
But, since then the Parents Television Council has slammed
the network for allowing her antics.
“MTV continues to sexually exploit
young women by promoting acts that incorporate ‘twerking’ in a nude-coloured
bikini. How is this image of former child star Miley Cyrus appropriate for
14-year-olds?” they said in a statement.
Meanwhile, even Miley’s friend Kelly Osbourne has less than
flattering this to say about the gig.
“Look, Miley’s my friend and I love
her, and I have her back no matter what, but as her friend I’m going to tell
her – put your f**king tongue in your mouth. I love you, but just put your
tongue in your mouth,” she quipped on E! show Fashion Police.
