In the latest celebrity update, it was confirmed that Derek Ramsay and Cristine Reyes are officially a couple.

In fact, Derek confirmed the news without any hesitation.

                “Yes, we’ve been on for one day,” he said.

The Kapatid star who admits he’s very much inspired nowadays previously said in interviews that after his failed relationship with Angelica Panganiban, he will no longer date someone showbiz. He has clearly changed his mind.

On the other hand, the Kapamilya actress tried to keep quiet when asked about her relationship status with Derek.

“Hindi ko pa alam kung paano sasagutin iyan sa ngayon. Dahil gusto ko kung magsasalita ako, yung sure na. Gusto ko yung sigurado na talaga,” Cristine said.

However, Cristine’s emotions got the better of her even if she tried not to tell anything about her relationship.

“Same pa rin. Single pa rin ako. I don’t know. Nagi-entertain. Nagsisinungaling lang ako, please. I-delete niyo iyon,”Cristine playfully told the press.

The couple decided to share the news to everyone after Cristine’s press conference.

As we all know, the two have been friends since they did the movie “No Other Woman” in 2011 while Derek has been linked to other girls, Cristine and Derek often g out with friends.

                “Hindi naman nawala eh (yung friendship). Parang consistent pa rin talga ever since,” she said.

Cristine admitted that they have lots of similarities especially Derek is a family man.

“Pareho kaming baliw. Pareho kaming outgoing. Tapos family man siya, iyon yung pinakagusto ko sa kanya,” she said.

Furthermore, “King and Queen of Hearts” is their theme song since they added king and queen to their social media names.

Meanwhile, Derek and Cristine are currently doing a movie “My Trophy Wife” under Viva Films.
