Three’, who came up with that title?
Excited to know more about Mutya Keisha Siobhan? Well check
out the story and their latest single ‘Flatline’ below!
In the latest celebrity update, Mutya Keisha Siobhan
thinking after the first album comes out they want to start recording their
second album because they want to hit the ground running.
“We want to enjoy the next few
months before the album comes out. To be honest, when it comes out we’ll most
likely hit the studio and start recording the next album. We’re already
thinking and talking about it. We want to hit the ground running,” Keisha said.
However, their second single is not sure when it will be
released but one thing for sure their first album will be released early next
year.
“We’re not sure when the next
single is going to radio, we don’t have the date yet. The fourth quarter is a
bit scary,” Mutya said.
“You
should hear it before Christmas – it will be released early next year,” Siobhan
added.
On the other hand, the group thinks that their song lost on
the radio instead there something happened behind the scenes that they couldn’t
help it. Apparently, their goal was to release a song that people liked.
“I don’t think our song got lost on
the radio. I think there were certain things that happened behind the scenes
that couldn’t helped. Our goal was put a song out that people liked and we
think we’ve done that. If we wanted to record an easy throwaway hit then we
would have put something out back in 2010 after we first met up. We didn’t
because we won’t compromise our music and we’re here for the long haul. Also,
it’s all about the album really and not just the single for us,” Keisha said.
Meanwhile, Mutya Keisha Siobhan are feeling great and relief
that their first single ‘Flatline’ was already out and this is the start of
something new for them including the tour because it is important part of what
they really are.
“It’s a bit of a relief as we’ve
been dying to get the music out there and it’s been a long time coming. It’s
great to start the campaign and get going with the tour. The tour is what it’s
all about really as our live performance is such an important part of what we
are. In that respect, the single has done the job it was meant to do,” Siobhan
said.
Speaking of tour, Mutya Keisha Siobhan already start their
UK tour called ‘Sacred Three’, which Keisha came up for the title.
“Me! I just think because there’s
three of us and, well, it’s sacred! It’s like saying the origina Sugababes without
actually saying it,’ Keisha said.
However, they are not going to sing their solo songs on
their tour instead they’ll be a surprise at the end of the tour.
“Nah.
No. I hope not!” Mutya said.
“To be honest, there’s so much
material from us that it’s a tricky one. We’ll be doing the new album. The One
Touch and some of the Sugababes stuff in between. It’s all about the gel of the
three creative inputs. If you take it back to our solo stuff then it becomes
less about that,’ Siobhan said.
“They’ll
be a surprise at the end of the tour as well,” Keisha said.
