RYZAA MAE DIZON |
Two GMA-7 shows are in hot water. The MTRCB {Movie and
Television Review and Classification Board) has summoned the noontime show “Eat
Bulaga” and its pre-programming,” The Ryzza Mae Show” to a mandatory conference
“for scenes allegedly insensitive and unfriendly to children.”
What really happened? What GMA will be going to do now?
Excited to know more what exactly happened? Well, check out
the story below!
In the latest celebrity update, MTRCB chair Atty. Toto
Villareal said in his statement that on “Bulaga’s” July 29 edition saw one of
the hosts spitting juice into child star Ryzza Mae Dizon’s face.
On the other hand, “The Ryzza Mae Show’s” August 14 edition
a contest winner told the eight years old host, “Landing bata ka.” Ryzza
explained that she’s just a child, and asked the contest winner not to be harsh
on her.
“These scenes palpably violate the
dignity of the child and have to addressed by the show’s producer, TAPE, Inc.
as well as GMA channel 7, over which the shows air. The MTRCB hopes for the
cooperation of all those concerned in finding out what caused those scenes, who
are responsible, and what immediate and concrete measures can be done so they
do not happen again,” Villareal said.
Villareal added that MTRCB is reiterating its “serious and
urgent concern” for children, who described as “the most vulnerable in media
and entertainment.”
