In the latest celebrity update, the actress Jayma Mays, who
plays neurotic school counselor Emma Pillsbury and half of fan fave “Wemma”
with Matthew Morrison’s will Scheuster, confirmed to Access Hollywood the
upcoming season will be her last.
“This is going to be my last
season,” Jayma told Access on the blue carpet for the ‘Smurfs 2’ premiere in
Hollywood.
The information came after the actress, whose character tied
the knot with Will on the Season 5 finale, was asked about all the changes
coming to the show.
“I’m finishing up this season, so I’m
not sure what direction and who’s coming on and who’s not,” she explained.
In fact, series regulars Heather Morris, Harry Shum Jr.,
Mark Salling and Amber Riley will not return to the show however, ‘American
Idol’ alumni Adam Lambert will be joining the cast.
Meanwhile, the reason behind Jayma departure is due to her
new role on CBS’ upcoming sitcom “The Millers,” starring Will Arnett.
“We start up in a couple weeks!”
Jayma excitedly told Access of “The Millers,” where she’ll play Will Arnett’s
sister – a role initially played by Mary Elizabeth Ellis in the pilot.

guest.
“I would
love to do that,” she said.
