Adam Brody shares one valid realization after doing about
the world’s first erotic superstar.
How ‘porn’ helps celebrities?
Excited to know the story? Well, check out the story below!
In the latest celebrity update, the American actor Adam
Brody believes some celebrities begin out “as porn stars.”
The film and television actor stars in ‘Lovelace,’ which
follows the life of Linda Lovelace, who became the world’s first erotic
superstar after starring in 1972 film ‘Deep Throat.’
In fact, Adam discussed how attitudes towards pornography
have changed over the years.
“Nowadays you’ve got celebrities
who essentially start out as porn stars. It might be with be with their
boyfriends – but that’s essentially their big break – there isn’t that stigma
and maybe there shouldn’t be. But I can’t imagine [porn] is that healthy
psychologically for those involved,” he told the UK edition of cosmopolitan
magazine.
On the other hand, Adam portrays a porn star in the film,
and his part brings a touch of humor to an otherwise tragic story. Linda later
went on to denounce her movie career, declaring she was forced into it by her
then husband, and became a spokeswoman for the anti-pornography movement. Adam
also says the violence Linda suffered is more painful to watch than the porn.
“The domestic violence we see in
the movie is a million times more destructive than the porn. It is really sad.
I’m not in favor of making the entire thing illegal; that seems harsh, but I
don’t know what the answer is either,” he reflected.
Meanwhile, Adam stars alongside Amanda Seyfried in the
biopic. He recently revealed who he’d most like to work with one day.
“Bill Murray [is my dream co-star];
I’d love to play his son. I did [do my own stunts in Lovelace], but it’s an
R-rated movie, so they weren’t that extensive. They mostly involved facial
expressions,” he told UK InStyle.
