Marian Rivera Renews GMA 7 Contract!

Marian Rivera ended months of speculation as to whether she will remain a Kapuso or move to another network.

In the latest celebrity update, Marian Rivera renewed her contract for another three years in the presence of GMA 7 Chair and CEO Felipe Gozon and GMA 7 President and COO Gilbert Duavit Jr.

The President of Triple A Rams David, which manages Marian’s career, told in a phone conversation that Marian is slated to do a teleserye, a sitcom and talk show with GMA 7 and that she’s working on a hosting workshop the management is giving her.

The Network executives also gave her a birthday cake and Gozon, tongue-in-cheek said he wishes her “success and a good married life” as she turns a year older since Marian’s birthday month.

Although Marian and Dingdong said in their previous interviews they already talked about marriage however tying the knot is not in their immediate plans for now.

“Masaya ako na pumirma ulit ako sa GMA 7 dahil kung wala sila, walang Marian Rivera,” Kapuso actress said.

In fact, Marian is a homegrown GMA artist. She got her first break in the network’s remake of the Mexican series “Marimar,” where she portrayed the title role. The show was a big hit and made her a household name.

She also went to do “Dyesebel” and “Amaya,” a historical fiction which is said to be the most expensive Philippine series so far for GMA.

Marian also made a couple of projects for GMA Films, like “You To Me Are Everything” and “My Lady Boss.”

Meanwhile, in that day, Charee Pineda also sign a 3 years contract, where she will be part in Lovi Poe, Rocco Nacino and Solenn Heussaff teleserye “Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas,” in GMA 7.

At the same time, Ruru Madrid and Miguel Tanfelix also sign an Exclusive 5-yearcontract in a Kapuso Network.

On the other hand, Marian has no idea if her beau will also remain in Kapuso Network or move to another station.
