family. Hindi God-fearing, God-loving ang hinahanap ko, Julia said, the newest
endorser of ‘Comfit Shoes.’
Julia has also learned to wait until she gets to know a guy
much better rather than to fall easily and made a mistake.
“Simple lang, Hindi ako tumitingin
sa looks, kung paano ang lifestyle niya. Basta nababalanse niya lahat. Natutunan
ko na huwag kang titingin sa first impression,” Julia said.
In fact, the more important for Julia is the approval of her
grandmother. She confesses that she herself is harder to please than her old
relative.

pasagutin si Lola. Pero lagging sinasabi ni Lola, ‘Bakit ang sungit mo kay
ganito? Okay naman ah.’ May character ako na kapag ayaw ko talaga, (ayaw),” she

into her first relationship, it will be ‘the one’, which she can spend the rest
of her life with.

papasukin ko na first serious relationship ay yung till the end and forever na
makakasama ko na man sa buhay ko.”
On the other hand, Julia also doesn’t have a clue if Enrique
Gil is showing an interest to court her or just in his character.

ko alam kung move iyon bilang Enrique o Francis (Enrique’s character),” she
said.
However, Julia declares that she and Enrique are closer now.
“Kung titignan mo siya, parang
batang-bata lang na ‘yung typical na ma-party. Pero when you get to know him,
iba siya. Malalim din siyang tao.”
Yet, relationship beyond friendship is not Julia’s main
concern for the moment. She is more focused on her showbiz career.
“Gaya ng lagi kong sinasabi, wala
po akong kino-close (na door). Basta ngayon ay work, enjoy lang muna and go with
the flow. Hindi priority (yung love life). Kagaya ng sinasabi ko, boyfriend ko
ang work ko so kailangan ko munang i-focus ang attention.”
Meanwhile, Julia defended her co-star in “Muling Buksan ang
Puso” Cherie Gil from bashers who accused the latter of hurting her (Julia)
while doing an intense scene in the teleserye. She also clarified the issue by
posting a photo of herself and Cherie Gil on Instagram and saying the she didn’t
get hurt at all.
“’Yung mga tao parang hini-hate
tweets na siya, so sabi ko kailangang malaman ng tao na napakagaling lang ni
Ms. Cherie. Hindi ako nasaktan. Dalang-dala lang kami sa eksena na iyon,” Julia
said.
CHERIE GIL ANG JULIA MONTES |
Julia explained that Cherie was very concerned for her while
shooting the scene and they are close. As a matter of fact, she considers
Cherie an ‘inspiration and idol.’
“Ang problema kasi, kapag umiiyak,
hirap akong mag-snap-out. Parang ang sakit sa puso. Noong umiyak ako, akala
niya sobrang akong nasaktan. Sabi ko, ‘No, no, no, hindi po.’ Naiiyak lang po
ako super sa scene. Cool mom siya. At lahat kami ay bonded, kapag tipong nasa
location kami, hinahanap naming ‘yung ibang cast,’ she explained.
