Lady Gaga Dedicates Song To Gay Bullying Victim

The American pop singer-songwriter Lady Gaga dedicated a song to Jamey Rodemeyer.

In the latest celebrity update, the pop singer has paid tribute a song to the bullied gay teen Jamey Rodemeyer, who committed suicide last week, at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas on Saturday September 24, 2011 by dedicating her hit tune “Hair”.

“We lost a Little Monster this week,” Lady Gaga told the audience at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas with a video of her fan flashed above her on a screen.

The 25 year old Lady Gaga launched a campaign to make bullying illegal after learning a fan Jamey Rodemeyer, who is only 14 year old, allegedly committed suicide following years of cruel taunts from his peers over his sexuality.

“I wrote this record about how your identity is really all you’ve got when you’re in school… so tonight, Jamey, I know you’re up there looking at us, and you’re not a victim. You’re a lesson to all of us. I know it’s a bit of a downer, but sometimes the right thing is more important than the music.” Lady Gaga said.

On the other hand, the Amherst Police Department is still investigating whether charges can be brought against three teenagers who bullied Jamey over the past year.

You know what, Lady Gaga is right! “Bullying is for Losers…”

Here is the video where she dedicated her song "Hair:"
