Simon Cowell Wants to Beat “American Idol”

The English television personality Simon Cowell wants his show “The X factor” to beat his old show “American Idol.”

In the latest celebrity update, the 51 year old Simon Cowell makes no bones and he is out for blood about it on X Factor Wednesday night at 8/7c on Fox. He also told TMZ that he wants to beat American Idol and also any other show in the ratings.

Meanwhile, The X Factor premiere wasn’t competing enough or not so close with American Idol but Cowell still desires to out rank his big competition.

“You don’t compete for the silver or bronze… you may not get the gold, but you die trying.” He said.

The X factor Judge Cowell acknowledged walking away from a $100 million bonanza to remain on American Idol and he is not afraid to take a chance with his latest high profile.

The X Factor has been a hit in the UK for a several years and now it taking a chance in United States. It premieres on Wednesday September 21, 2011 at 8/7c on Fox.
