In the latest celebrity update, American Idol wasn’t
nominated for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program category.
Fox’s monster singing competition got stiffed for the first
time this year after nine straight nominations in the Best Reality Competition category
and also nine straight losses.
In fact, it’s getting tougher; it got beaten by its most
bitter rival NBC’s “The Voice” so it’s already been a tough week for “American
Idol” including the judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler jumping ship with no
replacements on the horizon.
