Harry Potter Theme Park goes in Hollywood

Harry Potter fans in United States will be so freaking excited and happy because Harry Potter and his friends are moving from Hogwarts to Hollywood.

In the latest celebrity update, Harry Potter ii going to build in Hollywood as the latest theme park and it will be based on the Universal Studios, according to the statement of NBC Universal and film studio Warner Bros. on Tuesday December 06, 2011.

‘The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’ will be constructed within Universal Studios Hollywood and it feature attraction which is similar to the ‘Potter theme park’ at the Universal’s resort in Orlando, Florida that opened last June 2010.

However, the fresh theme park could take 3-4 years to be assembled and it is to be expected to rate numerous hundred million dollars.

The two corporations, Universal, which runs the theme parks, and Warner Bros, which owns the rights to the ‘Harry Potter Movies Franchise,’ also broadcasted that the ‘Wizarding World’ in Orlando, Florida would be expanded.

The Hollywood park will be inside around a huge Hogwarts caste and attribute rides as well as other attractions based on the adventures of the popular British boy wizard and his friends.

The author J.K Rowling’s ‘Harry Potter’ book series has been sold over 450 million copies all over the world and 8 movies from the Warner Bros. Studios have taken more than $7.7 billion at worldwide box-offices, creating Harry Potter is the biggest-grossing movie franchise in history.

Meanwhile, the executives did not state how many of the Florida rides would make their system to the Hollywood park, nor did they say if any latest rides were visualized but they said the latest attraction would be made with the same commitment to the legitimacy with the books and movies as the one in Florida.


Barry Meyer the Warner Bros. chairman called the announcement on Tuesday as the ‘probably the best holiday gift we could give to the legions of Harry Potter fans worldwide.’

“Everyone involved with projects is committed to the continuing the enchantment of J.K. Rowling’s masterful books as they were brought to life on screen in our eight films and dedicated to extending the magic of the experience for generations of fans to come,” Meyer said.
