Anne Curtis adds another feature to her cap.

In the latest celebrity update, Anne Curtis is the first
Filipino actress to be featured on the ‘E! News Asia Special.’
The show, which featured Hollywood stars like Nicki Minaj,
Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga, will devote an entire episode on the
Kapamilya actress, starting her childhood to her present status as one of the
country’s most bankable actresses, with more than five million followers on
Twitter.
“I was super thrilled that I really
jumped around. It’s not every day that you get an offer like that,” Ann said.
In fact, Anne knows being featured in the international
entertainment show is a really huge thing.
“I really treasure each day that I’m
given this opportunity. At the moment, I can just disappear. It can be taken
away from me. Although, it was a very slow climb, but that’s why I treasure it
all the more. It gives you that sense of achievement, of that the 16 years that
you’re striving to reach and make a name for yourself,” she explained.
The show also features Anne and Vice Ganda’s charity garage
for sale for victims of typhoon Maring.
“It turned out for the best
actually because it raised awareness of how things work here. How we’re all
smiling even if we’re tired, how we keep going. That’s something that I think
we’re able to feature when they were following me around,” Anne said.
Anne also explained that the inclusion of snippets from her
show “It’s Showtime” in the E! Channel special makes her even prouder.
“It’s us sharing what other
countries might not have which is having a noontime variety show. Not a lot of
people understand that. My father doesn’t understand that when we first came
here, but it’s part of our culture that would something I would be proud to
share across Asia,” she explained.
On the other hand, Anne clarified that her beau Erwan
Heussaff was not interviewed. She explained that he’d rather refrain from
sharing the spotlight with her in the entertainment industry.
“If it’s about cooking, he’s there.
If it’s about food, he’s there. But in terms of the entertainment industry? For
his sister (Solenn Heussaff), he will. But in terms of our relationship, it’s
best we keep it private and that totally came from him. I didn’t have to say
anything,” she clarified.
The Kapamilya star said respecting each other’s space plays
a big role in keeping her relationship with Erwan strong. While Anne is busy
with her showbiz commitments, Erwan is making a name in cooking, food blogging
and triathlon.
“I think it’s publicly known that
most of my relationships are people that I am paired with or people that I work
with. And to have someone who’s outside of the industry but respects what you’re
doing. And that doesn’t have to be always by your side 24/7, it’s really quite
refreshing,’ she shared.
Meanwhile, Anne is working a movie project with his
ex-boyfriend Sam Milby but Anne declared that Erwan never told her not to work
with him.
“It will only be natural to be
awkward when he sees us on screen. But he’s not the type to be, ‘Oh, he’s your
ex-boyfriend, you can’t work with him,” Anne said.
